Trip the Light Fantastic: Cirque du Danse
Trip the Light Fantastic’s 3rd annual ballroom production “Cirque du Danse” features a variety of professional and amateur ballroom and Latin numbers performed in a gorgeous historical venue with state of the art lighting and sound. Each number will pay homage to a circus act or spectacle, merging the thrill of the big top with the art of dance, and the magic of the stage! Mary Hawley Birthday Open House
Red gladiolas, a favorite of Mary Hawley, will grace the Edmond Town Hall on Thursday, August 22 in celebration of the birthday of Newtown’s beloved benefactress. Copies of Miss Hawley’s will and trust documents will be available for perusal by visitors along with a “Star of Gifts” painted by Michelle Rosenthal and donated by Mr. and Mrs. Ron and Lynn Buttner of Newtown.
