Part literary event, part experimental theater—this remarkable evening will leave the audience laughing, thinking and emotionally moved.
New York Times-bestselling author Jarrett J. Krosoczka brings his critically acclaimed memoir to life with the cast of multigenerational readers including students from Danbury High School joining Jarrett for a live, unabridged reading. Their voices, projected artwork from the print book, music and sound effects from the award-winning audiobook will tell the story of Jarrett’s high school experience as a camp counselor for seriously ill kids and their families.
There will be a Q&A after the show and Byrd’s Books will be selling copies of the Book at the event and Jarrett will be signing copies.
This event is open to the public. Recommended for students 5th grade and up.
