The Voices story began in 1969 in Bronxville, New York, with a progressive rock group called the Emily Band. With exceptional talent and a polished stage show, Emily Band quickly developed a large, dedicated following. After several personnel changes, the group core remained drummer Lex Martirano and brother Christian Martirano playing keyboards, with Corky Ballard on bass, and guitarist Ramon Colon. A dynamic singer, Tom Textor, fronted the group.

Needing to produce a demo of their original music to showcase, the band relocated to Newtown, Connecticut to build their own recording studio.

Voices members remained very close over the years, and often discussed organizing one a final performance.

For this special event, bandmates will travel from all over the country to honor their former band mate, Frank Lake, who passed away in 2006.

All proceeds benefit ETH.
